Okay, here's the deal: It's a meme! Sort of. Basically, I love the idea of sensory and motor homunculi, and it comes to mind that it would be neat to see people take the concept and render their characters in a similar way. Here's what you do: draw your character with all of their important or central physical traits overemphasized. Is your character known by their large ears? Well, make them ridiculously large. Buck teeth? Make them huge! Think of it as caricature-- it isn't supposed to be pretty, but it's a way to show off everything that makes them inherently them. Here's my homunculi of Lyosha. I probably just should have drawn her as a giant spotted tribble, but that would have been boring. If you draw your character like this, please link me! I'd love to see it!
